I was looking back at some of the background art from Pocahontas, and loving the styling this week. So, for some quick studies, I've been doing some background re-creation paintings. Really good exercise in compostion studies...hoping that somehow the amazing layouts will just seep into my brain and make me draw that way without thinking about it :) These were all done in about 45 minutes each, using Sketchbook Pro.

Nice Liz! It's easy to forget how educational copy work can be.
My favorite is the pink sky with the trees on the left.
